At our Portland boutique we’re all about fashion that also serves a purpose, which is why we’re obsessed with Love, Margaux. The carryall bags are smart and stylish with their sleek and pretty designs. We love that there’s several compartments to keep life’s essentials separated and organized.  And in order to keep our online business afloat, we’ve got our laptops on us at all times. So having a great looking tote to carry not only our work, but also everything else, makes it a pretty sweet deal. 

Love, Margaux bags are the perfect way to pull together an outfit, especially for that 9-5 lifestyle. The Metropolitan Station iPad Envelope even made an appearance in an Oregonian article on how to dress for the office from an outfit we styled. We love how the case adds a fun, playful element to the look and almost looks like a chic clutch. But of course it’s functionality at its best, allowing the woman on the go to carry her work with her in style.

Swimsuit Trends

Summer has finally arrived in Portland.  People here joke that summer doesn't start until July 5.  It couldn't have been more accurate this year.  I'm liking the old fashion glamour swimsuits this summer--comfortable and classic silhouettes that are timeless pieces.

Beauty Product Review

 

I've discovered some great new beauty products that are worth mentioning. First off is the Clarisonic brush which is a very effective exfoliator that gets your skin ultra smooth.  It deep cleans your pores and gets rid of dead skin and as a result, your moisturizers sink in better and make-up products work better. 

  The Arcona Mandarin Brightening Peel was recommended to me by my Esthetician friend.  It is an all natural fruit acid peel that leaves your skin smoother and improves the overall appearance of your complexion.  Pairing the Clarisonic with the the Arcona Mandarin Brightening Peel is an excellent in-home facial that will leave a visible difference.  

Maybelline has been making very good products that are better than many of the department store make up for fraction of the price.  A lot of the make-up is selling out like crazy, and I had to go to several stores to find some of them.  The Dream Liquid Mousse has a flawless finish and available in many shades.  The Tattoo eye shadow is a creamy eye shadow that has supreme blendability that stays on all day.
