iPad Envelope Giveaway

The iPad Envelope is an idea that I've had for awhile, and it's satisfying to see dreams become a reality.  This envelope is sentimental in that I created the patterns and sewed the sample prototypes. I usually have the help of professional pattern makers, but I thought it would be fun to learn the process from conception to product.  I had originally designed the envelope to be in Lap Mode seen here:

Then one night (possibly in slight delirium from sewing too late), I realized that this iPad Envelope can also stand up in Movie/Facetime Mode.  I think this feature is pretty cool--versatile and functional, not to mention it's also in the top selling fabric that I managed to get the last roll of.

Red is a great color, in small doses.  Too much of it can be 
overwhelming, but key pieces of red accesories, like a bag or shoes
can make a work outfit instantly eye catching and interesting

Robot Revolution

Siri on iPhone 4S reminds me of watching the Jetsons cartoon when I was a kid.  All the high tech gadgets and the robot maid on the show seemed so futuristic back then.  The future is here with Siri, the talking robot.  Robots have been around for awhile, but I think Apple might have started the robot revolution for the common people.  Your wish is its command.

Colored Jeans Trend

 

I'm a blue jeans girl and not sure if I could wear all these colors, BUT I'm seeing a lot of colored jeans which will probably be a big trend this spring.
